We Malaysians usually have heavy breakfast compare to most other countries, Nasi Lemak, Curry Mee, Char Koay Teow oh gosh….so sinful. Hence here I present something, healthy for breakfast! Porridge!!!
The full glory of warm oyster porridge, with toppings such as braised pork, spring onions, deep fried shallots and the uncommon use of eel flakes.
Side orders such as yao char kaoy is available too.
Or even pork intestines…
Or pork skin which is really smooth and nice….
Er….WAIT! Isn’t it supposed to be healthy??? Er….what???
However, although the porridge do looks nice and tasty when it was served, in my opinion it doesn’t taste as good as it looks. I much prefer this kind of porridge to be served thick rather than watery type. My mum find it is good though as each mouthful is delicious with all the eel flakes and braised pork. 6.2/10
The shop is facing Perak road, but it do takes me some time to find it since the signboard is so small, and there are just so many shops there, and Perak Road is just too crowded in the morning.

How come the broth of the porridge is so dark? I would prefer the porridge. Pork skin, no thanks!
